The "Dessus les Vermots" vineyard sits just above the famed Premier Cru slopes of Savigny-lès-Beaune. In the hands of Michel Digioia, this 2021 vintage is a masterclass in balance. It captures the rugged, stony character of its high-altitude terroir while maintaining the silky, high-toned red fruit that defines top-tier Burgundy.

Appearance - Deep ruby with garnet reflections.
Nose - Sophisticated and layered. Aromas of dark raspberry and macerated cherries are accented by savory notes of forest floor, black pepper, and a distinct flinty minerality.
Palate - Medium-bodied and energetic. The 2021 vintage provides a refreshing acidity that carries flavors of pomegranate and spice across a structured, finely grained tannin finish.
Pairings - Herb-crusted lamb chops, venison, or a rich beef bourguignon. Earthy lentil stews or roasted root vegetables with thyme.
