The Golden Standard of Russian River 
Crafted by winemaker Andy Smith, the 2023 Wester Reach is a wine of incredible texture and "nerve." Sourced from the coolest sub-sections of the Russian River Valley, this vintage benefits from a long growing season that allowed the grapes to develop deep complexity while retaining a bracing acidity. This is a "serious" Chardonnay—layered, powerful, and impeccably balanced, representing the absolute pinnacle of Sonoma Coast winemaking.

Appearance - Brilliant straw gold with silver highlights.
Nose - A multi-dimensional bouquet of lemon curd, white peach, and orange blossom, interwoven with sophisticated notes of toasted brioche, crushed ginger, and a distinct "matchstick" reduction.
Palate - Full-bodied and "crystalline." The entry is rich and expansive, but a focused "spear" of lime-like acidity runs through the center. Expect flavors of honeyed pear and roasted nuts, finishing with a lingering, salty mineral tug.
Pairings - Lobster Teppanyaki with Garlic Butter, Foie Gras Teppanyaki, Kani Miso, Gindara Saikyo Yaki, Premium Tempura, Grilled Salmon with Teriyaki.
Service - Serve at 11–13°C. Avoid serving "ice-cold," as the cold will mute the wine's incredible textural depth.
