Château Le Grand Français is a standout producer in the Bordeaux Supérieur category, distinguished by its long-standing commitment to organic and biodynamic practices. This classic blend, typically dominated by Merlot with a supportive structure of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, is grown on the high plateaus of the Right Bank. The winemaking focuses on preserving the natural richness of the fruit while maintaining a refined, elegant structure, resulting in a Bordeaux that is approachable yet possesses enough depth to satisfy serious connoisseurs.

Appearance - Deep garnet red with a concentrated core and subtle brick-orange glints.

Nose - A sophisticated and classic bouquet. Aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum are woven with complex notes of cedarwood, dried tobacco leaf, and a hint of warm baking spice.

Palate - Medium-to-full-bodied with a velvety, well-integrated structure. The palate offers a dense core of dark forest fruits, supported by fine-grained tannins and a balanced, food-friendly acidity. It finishes with impressive persistence, leaving a savory, earthy impression and a touch of black pepper.

Pairings - Wagyu Teppanyaki, Beef Teriyaki, Grilled Butabara, Iberico Pork Secreto, Assorted Wild Mushroom Foil Yaki.

Service - Serve at 17–18°C. This is a structured red wine that benefits from 30 to 45 minutes of aeration in a decanter. This allows the tannins to soften and the complex secondary aromas of cedar and spice to fully integrate with the fruit.
